Representatives of the International Training and Methodology Center for Financial Monitoring and the International Network AML/CFT Institute took part in the international practical conference "Sectoral Objectives in the Digital Age. Implementation Prospects and Risks" held on 22 April 2020
The conference was organized by the National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI.” It was the first online event of the International Network AML/CFT Institute (INI) held in a pandemic period. More than 130 participants took part in the event.
Opening remarks to the participants were made by the Deputy Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service Vladimir Glotov.
Among speakers of the Plenary meeting were:
– Vladimir Uzhva, acting Vice-Rector, Head of the Department of Economic Development, MEPhI, Ph.D.
– Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Director of the International Network AML/CFT Institute, First Deputy General Director of ITMCFM, Ph.D., Associate Professor
– Anna Frolova, Head of Rosfinmonitoring's Departmant for HR Management & Combating Corruption, Ph.D.
– Botagoz Amanzholova, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Proceedings and Criminalistics, Deputy Dean for Research, Buketov Karaganda State University, Ph.D., Associate Professor.
Participants of the round table on Relevant Tasks Linked to Establishment of a Digital University shared experiences of switching to online learning in the context of the pandemic, its challenges and benefits.
ITMCFM representatives participating in the round table delivered presentations named "International Network AML/CFT Institute in the Context of Digitalization: Challenges and Perspectives," "ITMCFM's Digital Experience: E-courses and Webinars," and "RUDN's Experience in Online Learning of Masters in the Area of Financial Monitoring"
Participants got information about advantages of the development and integration of e-learning tools into AML/CFT education, as well as about analysis of existing challenges in digital transformation of education faced by universities of the International Network AML/CFT Institute.
