A modular training course on the Implementation of International AML/CFT Standards, hosted by ITMCFM, was held from 18 to 22 November 2019 in Moscow, Russia. The training took place simultaneously both in-person and via videoconferencing (VC), and gathered 110 participants-representatives of FIU from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The course was taught by leading Rosfinmonitoring's experts.
The purpose of the event was to study methods and to be familiarizing with the results of the NRA, the practice of the procedures of FATF mutual evaluation in the run-up to the partner States assessments (mutual evaluation). The training course also included exchange of experiences and best practices in meeting 11 Immediate Outcomes.
The course ended with a round table dedicated to the sharing of experiences in improving international AML/CFT cooperation. Participants thanked organizers for the course and expressed their wishes for the organization of further cooperation. Later on, representatives of the training course were awarded certificates for training completion.
