AML/CFT ad hoc briefings

Partner organizations involved in the provision of AML/CFT ad hoc briefings and trainings under cooperation contracts with ITMCFM.

Under the Russian law, employees of organizations carrying out transactions with funds or other property and individual entrepreneurs referred to in Article 5 of Federal Law No. 115-FZ of August 7, 2001 "On combating money laundering and terrorist financing" shall undergo the requisite AML/CFT training.

The Federal Financial Monitoring Service is responsible for setting AML/CFT training requirements for the personnel of organizations carrying out transactions with funds or other property, individual entrepreneurs, lawyers, notaries and persons engaged in entrepreneurial activities related to the provision of legal or accounting services, including designated officials. The same requirements applicable to organizations and individual entrepreneurs whose activities are supervised by a dedicated oversight authority are set by the Federal Financial Monitoring Service in consultation with the relevant oversight authority.

The ad hoc briefings program is approved by Rosfinmonitoring Order No. 250 dated June 19, 2011 "On approval of the ad hoc briefings-based training program for the employees of organizations carrying out transactions with funds or other property".
